LA10 FC and Oxnard Guerreros showed Saturday that they don’t need titles at stake to produce a thrilling game. Alex Knox opened the game by taking a powerful shot against the Oxnard goalie, finding the lower left corner. The team was able to keep the 1-0 lead well into the end of the first half.
At the 67th minute, a referee call granted the Guerreros a penalty kick giving the game a 1-1 tie. LA10 FC scored a second goal in the 90th minute that was mistakenly called off by the referee, ending the game with a draw.
Hristov really has to accentuate the positives from this game because there’s hardly time to breathe before the next game arrives, he states that the team is still working on finding a confident striker that can take initiative to guide the squad on the offensive advance.
LA10 FC look to garner a win this weekend to climb to the number 1 position in the table.
